Honey has been used for centuries in skin care. Cleopatra used milk and honey in her bath to maintain her youthful appearance. Burns, wounds, and infections of skin were treated with honey. Honey is humectant, which attracts and retains moisture, and also acts as an anti -irritant, making it suitable for sensitive skin. It also has antiseptic and antibacterial properties. Honey contains formic acid, enzyme, vitamins, copper, manganese, calcium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus and magnesium.

Both soaps are wrapped with a 100% cotton washcloth, and each bar weighs at least 4.5 oz. These little packages make wonderful gifts.

Why handcrafted, natural soap?
Did you know that commercially manufactured soap has the essential ingredient "glycerin" removed, which is then sold to manufacturers of things such as toothpaste and lotions? Soaps that are widely advertised as being the most moisturizing can still be irritating and drying to your skin and even cause allergic reactions. These soaps are made with cheap ingredients such as petroleum oils and are mass-produced with added preservatives. Read your labels!

Many of the soaps in the market are advertised as "natural ". Many times, there is nothing natural in these soaps!. The only natural ingredient I have found is water.
